MediCall Receives Third URAC Accreditation

Pleasanton, CA, November 2, 2010 – MediCall announced today that it has just received its third URAC Accreditation. "Health Utilization Management" has now been added to "Workers' Comp" Utilization Management" and previous "CORE" accreditations.

"This is another significant milestone in MediCall's growth strategy" according to John Chess, MediCall's CEO, "and a strong validation to the level of acceptance for our global clinical services model. New Medical Loss Ratio (MLR) requirements have resulted in significant expansion in our Group Health Service Lines. Clients are looking for a strategic solution to address the challenges associated with the healthcare reform laws now being put in place. Our continued success is built on the ability of MediCall to raise critical quality scores for our clients, meet state regulations and to substantially reduce the cost infrastructure our clients currently have in place. This latest URAC accreditation underscores MediCall's commitment to quality" Mr. Chess added.

"MediCall should be commended for meeting strict quality standards," said Alan P. Spielman, URAC president and CEO. "MediCall's model provides a value-added global approach to addressing the changing needs of the healthcare industry. It is critically important for organizations such as MediCall to make this commitment to quality and accountability. URAC accreditation is a demonstration of that commitment."

MediCall offers a full suite of integrated Utilization Management products from specialized intake to nurse and peer review. With the ability to provide services via the client's system or our own hosted application, MediCall offer a customizable service package that fits well with any health plan's strategic initiatives.
