MediCall is very experienced and well positioned to provide high quality support services to a variety of pharmacy focused programs for our clients which includes PBM providers as well as several of the largest health plans, and disease management companies. Utilizing a combination of our Philippine certified pharmacists, physicians, and nurses with U.S. based clinical oversight, MediCall is an innovative solution to extend the reach and capabilities of our clients own clinical teams. In fact, with most of our current programs, MediCall clinicians are held to the same quality and service levels as our clients own teams, yet at a cost structure that is extremely attractive to providers who are looking for cost effective pharmacy solutions.

Medicare Part D Services
MediCall has a long and successful history of providing a variety of clinical services to support a number of programs associated with Medicare Part D, including:

  • Medication Therapy Management (MTM) support for high quality, cost effective communications directly with beneficiaries as required by the new Medicare Part D Criteria for 2010. Due to the fact that Medicare will not be increasing reimbursement levels to Part D MTM providers, MediCall is an extremely attractive solution for providing direct opt out and enrollment support as well as comprehensive medication reviews to beneficiaries at a cost structure that is roughly 40% less, per engagement, than U.S. based solutions. Because we are able to work within our clients own IT systems as secure remote users, the highest levels of quality monitoring and oversight are inherent in our model, driving even greater value to our clients and their members
  • Inbound Information Line to support formulary, billing and coverage issues from beneficiaries
  • Outbound Patient Discharge calls to members who have been recently discharged from the hospital to impact readmission rate
  • Outbound Health Risk Assessment calls to members who may be "at risk" for deteriorating health issues and who could benefit from more focused case management services from a U.S. based clinical team

Drug Utilization Reviews
MediCall has a demonstrated track record of developing and implementing utilization programs for health plans, workers comp providers, and PBM's to ensure our clients prescription drug benefits are cost effective and promotes quality of care at a significantly reduced costs. By utilizing MediCall clinicians to provide DUR services, our clients are able to measure and monitor our progress through their own IT systems (since we typically provide the work within our clients systems). The cost savings potential on this program is very significant and measurable and enables our clients to lower their overall administrative cost in order to remain cost competitive in today's challenging environment.
