Remote Device Monitoring

Due to recent technological developments, there is a plethora of high quality, feature rich biometric monitoring devices available for use in a variety of patient monitoring applications. These specialized devices acquire data from biomedical sensors that interact with the monitored patient and deliver the data to a depository where it can be monitored on a regular basis.

MediCall offers a staff of registered nurses to provide specialized monitoring services utilizing a variety of these devices.

MediCall nurses have the ability to:

  • remotely review the data according to the required monitoring schedule;
  • contact the patient directly to verify results and identify "false positive" readings;
  • Immediately follow client protocols in notifying caregivers, local medical personnel and family members if required; and,
  • notification can take the form of telephone calls, fax, email, text messaging or paging.

Our monitoring model can incorporate a variety of specialized services to offer a completely customizable process using existing client protocols in current use. Coaching or information services can be incorporated into the patient monitoring activities.
